02.17.10   We've got a busy summer coming up people! This year we will be hitting the states of North & South Carolina hard and heavy! Already we have scheduled stops at The Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh, NC, The Pour House in Charleston, SC, The Double Door Inn in Charlotte, NC, The White Mule in Columbia, SC, and many others including an evening with Larry Keel and Natural Bridge at The Pisgah Brewery in Black Mnt., NC. Also on the docket this summer are a couple big festivals.
Firstly, we will be at Smilefest in Pinnacle, NC. This festival will feature Michael Franti & Spearhead, Keller Williams, Larry Keel, Acoustic Syndicate, and many more! This is an invitation only festival so email smilefest@jackass-flats.com and request more info on obtaining tickets. Other Smilefest info can be found at www.smilefest.com
Also coming up is Camp Barefoot in Bartow, WV (www.campbarefoot.org) featuring Steve Kimock & Crazy Engine ft Melvin Seals, Toubab Krewe, EOTO, Garaj Mahal, The Breakfast, Hackensaw Boys, Spam Allstars, Kung Fu (featuring members of Jazz is Dead, RAQ, The Breakfast, and Dicky Betts), DJ Williams Projekt, and many more, both scheduled and TBA! Both these festivals are going to be off the hook, don't miss one second of either one!

01.10.10   Well, here it is, the new website! A new look for a new sound. Look for more graphical and layout enhancements in the weeks to come. To take advantage of some visual effects and especially the media page, you will have to allow Java Script to run. This will likely pop up as a warning when you enter our site, it is completely safe to allow them to run (at least at our site). Please let me know if anything is not functioning by sending me an email including your Operating System, web browser type/version, and issue you are having.

12.19.09   Thanks to all who braved the snow storm and made it out to Cary Street Cafe last night. Thankfully all members made it safely to the club just in time for a slightly late start. We had a great time playing and hope everyone made it home safe and sound. Some of us got to watch the sun come up while sitting at a dead stop on the highway while others braved the back roads to make it back to the comfort our evening’s respite.

08.15.09   Camp Barefoot was immensely fun and we can’t wait to return in 2010 in Bartow, WV. This festival served also as induction for harmonicist and keyboardist, Cory Potrafka. Cory had sat in with the band on a number of occasions but this was the first time playing the whole show. Thanks to all who hung out with us all weekend making this one of the most memorable festivals to date for us! See pics See Video Download recorded audio
